OTI Approved! Mid Atlantic OTI Education Center!

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has selected the Chesapeake Region Safety Council to team with the ECRI Institute, the Mid Atlantic Construction Safety Council and Johns Hopkins University to serve as an OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Center. The OTI Education Center program plays a key role within OSHA’s safety and health partnerships with workers and employers. OTI Education Centers support OSHA’s training mission through a variety of safety and health program including the Outreach Training Program, Spanish-language courses, and youth initiatives. Training provided by OTI Education Centers serves the public in the recognition, avoidance and prevention of unsafe and unhealthful working conditions.OTI Education Centers are located in every OSHA Region. The Chesapeake Region Safety Council is proud to join the other qualified organizations in this program and provide greater availability and access to quality safety and health training
